Fat Finger

Bio DJ/Promoter

FatFinger is an audacious and edgy DJ, producer, promoter and artist who has been creating music and organizing events for over twenty years.  He is known to rock a dance floor with an emphasis on funky, gritty music that always retains soul and beauty.  In recent years, the beats range from beautiful, uplifting house and pop remixes to sexy, funky glitch hop and disco funk.

As radio host of the BeatSlinger on KVMR FM in Nevada City, California from 2017 to 2021, FatFinger explored a wide array of electronic music from sultry downtempo, jamtronica, and acid jazz to bass music, drum and bass and techno, guiding listeners on a weekly journey into groove. In fact FatFinger has been hosting radio shows and podcasts consistently since the 1990s.

His live performances have brought him everywhere from top clubs in Buenos Aires and Los Angeles to the Full Moon Party in Koh Pha Gnan, and a decade of sets at Burning Man. He has performed across California, in Mexico City, Buenos Aires, Ibiza, and Southeast Asia.

Well known for his 13 year stint as a promoter in Los Angeles creating iconic parties like Plump, Nexus New Years, and Beyond Samsara,  FatFinger has done stages at Burning Man, Love Parade SF and many regional festivals.  A  recent role includes Music Director at Family Love Village, producing and running family areas at large music and arts festivals like Lightning in a Bottle, Boogaloo, Symbiosis and One Love.

As an audio producer, FatFinger has cranked out everything from banging electro house, bass music and acid jazz to radio documentary and NPR News. In recent years, FatFinger has also begun to distill fine spirits, which he hopes some day to share with the world.
